Andrea Villa
Andrea Villa grew up in a small town in Mexico with four siblings. She often felt alone, and her parents were not very nurturing. When she was six-years-old, she was molested and this only made her feel more alienated and ostracized. She relied on the company of a few best friends, and when she was sixteen, she came to America to try and start a new life. It wasn’t until later in her high school career that Andrea realized that writing short stories and poetry would be her outlet and a form of healing from her bothersome past.
