Ana Lucia Divins was born in Cali, Colombia. She moved to Miami in November 2000, then to Charlotte in 2001. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Industrial Engineering. Ana Lucia is passionate about inspiring a greater awareness of the richness of the Latino culture, rhythms and art. She currently works as a Multicultural Marketing Consultant and she is the lead vocalist of “Café Amaretto,” a Charlotte-based music group that blends jazz and blues in Latin American music. Music has always been part of her life: From winning remarkable music contests in her native country to become the featured artist of several cultural events and museums in the US. In the year 2000 she was the lead singer of “Los de Paula” rock band. In 2007, Ana Lucia launched her first musical production, the bilingual (English-Spanish) CD and music group for children: “Criss Cross Mangosauce”. In 2014, she formed “Café Amaretto” and since then, she performs with this music group in North Carolina and South Carolina.
