Michael Moreno is a Tejano writer, activist, and educator native to Lubbock, Texas. His journey from migrant worker all over the southern United States to professor of English and Research Writing in various universities is a true testament to his natural determination and talent. Michael is an active member in various communities whose work ranges from giving public lectures on privilege and allying himself to social justice movements. Moreno has been featured in various publications and showcases such as Label Me Latin@, Medium, Arkansas Review, REAL: Regarding Arts and Letters, and more. His passion for sharing his story and perspective flows beautifully into each and every one of his works.
