Victor Palomino is an artist who was born (1974) and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. He received his BA in film making and photography in 1998. Palomino moved to the US in 1999 and became a resident of North Carolina in 2001. He has worked in videography, music, writing, and has worked as a photographer and reporter for local Spanish newspapers and radio programs. Palomino also enjoys working for nonprofit and community organizations. Palomino expresses his ideas by making visual art with nontraditional materials. He is also a founding member of CHIVA TOP, a school bus-turned-mobile workshop that provides a space for creativity, community organizing, video story collecting, and other opportunities.  Last year, Palomino moved from Asheville, NC to Louisville, KY. He has recently returned to Asheville, where he continues his journey as an artist.
