Fabio Chee was born in Mexicali, Baja California (Mexico). Chee immigrated to the United States at eight years old and soon after left back to Mexico. He currently lives in California and works at California State University in San Marcos, California. Fabio has his PhD in Spanish. Fabio never met his father but has a brother, mother, and had a stepfather. Throughout Fabio’s years as a writer, he has published many works under pseudonym. He currently has two very famous short stories, one of them is titled “Bossa Nova.” Fabio Chee says that sadness is his inspiration and feels that if he lets out his feelings, others can relate to him.
