Antonio Tovar was born in San Antonio, Texas in 1964 however, he grew up in Mexico City. Tovar is a self-taught artist who began creating art in his early 20’s. Tovar now lives in New York City. His art has been exhibited in many places throughout the world including Spain, Germany, and California. Tovar’s art is inspired by his life and life itself. Tovar does not claim a specific style as he enjoys experimenting with different types of ideas and he uses any materials around him to create his different styles of art.
